Very sweet boys, pet home. Full grown, 2 years old
Castrated, disbudded (may have small scurs), can be housed with females. These boys are sweet and friendly, love their hay, treats and pasture. Looking for a forever home as pets. (No meat sales, these boys were raised as bottle babies and are seeking excellent loving homes where they will receive attention and care.)
Things to be aware of: Please do research on goat care and winter housing before bringing your new goats home. Note for winter: They will need
- warm protected shelter (from snow and rain)
- warm water 2x a day
- free choice minerals (Sweetlix is a good brand)
- 1st/2nd cutting dry hay
In spring/summer they will do well on pasture and wood browse. Wethers do not require any grain if they are already in good body condition. We do not recommend feeding grain to wethers as it makes them more susceptible to urinary blockage.
