Christmas kids

Siri & Mollie are ready for Christmas Season 2018 at Evergreen View Farm

new bucks

Both beautiful, friendly, and showing pedigrees with tons of udder and conformation consistency

Sunnydale Farm IB Blue Ice, a buck with all the right animals backing him up: a consistent line of CH Halifax daughters, as well as both Algedi Farm and Castle Rock genetics that feature multiple show winners, excellent appraisals, longevity, and lots of milk.
Poppy Patch JC Royal Rebel is planned. His genetics represent strong, sturdy animals with capacious, well-attached udders and lots of milk, qualities which should complement Whirlabout's refinement. A doe will be retained.

Blue Ice bringing in his paternal Castle Rock Farm genetics (strong for capacity, beautiful udders, and CH wins) along with the strengths of his maternal line which are based on CH Halifax and Algedi Farm animals.

I am offering an April 2017 doe kid for sale: Sunnydale Farm IB Blue Ice*B (son of Castle Rock Iceberg*S*B x CH Sunnydale Farm ZM Buttercup 2*M) x Rosasharn GX Sue Bee. This girl is beautifully dairy, long-boned, and is linebred on Eclipse genetics. Because I am downsizing the herd significantly, I made the choice to retire this doeling's dam, a Galaxy daughter, to a friend's Taj Mahal of pet homes, knowing that she would be loved there until her end. That being said, Sue Bee had one of the nicest udders I've had here: totally collapsible, large plumb teats, laterals at nine and three, and an extremely high rear. She was a very persistent milker, no surprise given her genetics, but did not approach the volume of her granddams, Buckwheat Honey and Eclipse. On the paternal side of this girl's pedigree are Castle Rock genetics, more Rosasharn--Eclipse lines, and Halifax. Bottle raised, very friendly and spoiled, growthy with no health issues, she's brown with one moon spot. Since I really hate to send doe kids solo, I am looking for a home that will be able to provide her with a buddy through quarantine and acclimation to a new herd. $450.

The boys--I don't think I will part with my Vocalise son--are both very consistent for genetics. I believe that both will give you milkable, well-attached udders (I hand milk everything so that I have a handle on the qualities that make for a good milker and if a doe is a piddling in the pail or hard to milk, I cull.) The Sunnydale boy will give you milk quantity. While Black Shadow is not my heaviest milker, she and her daughters and sisters have beautiful udder texture, shape, and large teats/orifices. I love to milk her, just flows out. The Poppy Patch component of Black Shadow's boy carries very high milk and capacity, as well as similar well-attached udders and large teats. I sell few bucks but I now have a breeding herd of a max of seven/eight does, most of whom are/will be related to Shadow or Rebel. I brought in a buck from California out of an SGCH 1260# milker, with genetics similar to Blue Ice's paternal side, so I cannot justify keeping him since he will not be used.
